How to update your installed packages with YUM.
Posted by admin on 11 September 2009 10:48 PM
CentOS allows you to easily manage your installed packages with yum, or Yellowdog Updater Modified. In order to update all you installed packages, simply issue the following command:

# yum update

Please note: Updating may cause your server to run slower then normal. Choose an appropriate low traffic time to perform updates to avoid downtime.
