How to enable the boxtrapper in cPanel.
Posted by admin on 11 September 2009 10:17 PM
The cPanel BoxTrapper allows you to activate e-mail verification for those not on your white list. This means that any mail address that is not placed on your white list will be required to send back a verification mail to ensure that they are not a spammer. This function can be quite useful in preventing automatic mailings that you do not wish to receive from reaching your inbox.

Log into your control panel and click Mail.
Click on BoxTrapper Spam Trap.
To enter the BoxTrapper menu, click on the word Manage.
Click on the button labelled Enable to enable the BoxTrapper.

Please note: The BoxTrapper will prevent all mail from entering your inbox except from addresses on your white list, or addresses that have responded to your verification message. Make sure that any automatic mailing you wish to receive have their from address on your white list as they will not be able to respond to your verification mail.
